Why people believe in us

TME Director

Dance Teaching Artist

JORDYN SCHETTINO

Teaching Philosophy: My approach to teaching centers on celebrating the individuality of each learner. For my youngest students, I believe that through structured exploratory play, the mastery of dance concepts becomes a natural and joyful part of their learning journey. It’s the excitement of movement and the challenge of problem-solving that ignite their artistry.

With older students and adults, I prioritize personalized instruction, helping them discover and expand their movement potential by tapping into their unique kinesthetic experiences. Whether we’re preparing for the stage or simply moving for fitness and fun, my goal is to empower dancers to integrate creative qualities that deeply resonate within technical dance forms.

Background & Experience: I specialize in providing enriching movement experiences for a diverse range of individuals, from toddlers as young as 18 months to adults of all ages. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance Performance & Choreography, along with K-12 Dance Education certification, and a Master's degree (MA) in Dance Education from Towson University.

Before founding The Movement Endeavor, I developed innovative dance programs and curricula for Baltimore County Public Schools and Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Additionally, I have served as an instructor with Towson University Community Dance, teaching for both the children and adult program.

Our Mission: At The Movement Endeavor, we provide personalized and high-quality dance instruction. Whether you’re seeking technical training, wedding dance lessons, social dance skills, a fun birthday party, an employee team-building activity, or simply a way to connect with your body through dance, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching environment where everybody can thrive. Our mission is to make dance accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for all!
